Fall 2025 - We are currently hiring for 1-2 part time sales associates (Generalist I). The role would be 5-15 hours per week with potential for growth. experience with retail a plus, but we are happy to train. Please email a cover letter and resume to info@islanderbookshop.com

What We're Looking For

• Passion for Books: You love reading and enjoy discussing books with others. you have a high attention to detail and find it exciting to .
• Customer Service Skills: You're friendly, approachable, and eager to help customers find their next great read or unique gift.
• Team Player: You work well with others and enjoy being part of a collaborative team, but can also work well independently during your shift.
• Flexibility: You’re available to work evenings and weekends and also adaptable; you can handle the varied tasks that come with working in a bookshop.
